About

I studied computer science at Egerton University and became tech lead at CoELIB, the university’s research and technology centre, in 2019. I still look after its software, servers and networks.

From 2021 to 2025 I led IT and data on two USAID programmes, with Michigan State and Arizona State universities, and built an ERP for Safaricom’s Digifarm. That taught me to build for scale, for sensitive data, and for funders who need numbers they can trust.

In 2020 I founded Violet Techies, which now runs six products and serves more than 100 organisations. I’m also a certified cybersecurity analyst, so security is part of every build from the start.
